Xiaomi cars are reported to start at 149,900 yuan.

Xiaomi cars are reported to start at 149,900 yuan.

Fast Technology reported on June 26 that recently, more and more road test spy photos of Xiaomi cars have been exposed, and the popularity of Xiaomi cars has also increased.

Recently, some media reported that the price of Xiaomi's electric sedan has been exposed, The new car is expected to launch two models, the standard version and the Pro version, for consumers to choose from, with market prices of 149,900 yuan and 179,900 yuan respectively.

The new car is expected to be launched in the second half of this year, and its main competitors in the same class include BYD Qin PLUS and AION S.

In response, a technology blogger said that if the Xiaomi electric sedan really starts at 149,900 yuan, he would buy at least three.

In fact, from the road test spy photos of Xiaomi cars, it can be seen that the Xiaomi electric sedan is a mid-to-large-sized hatchback coupe. Although Xiaomi products have always had a significant price-performance advantage, the price of 149,900 yuan is a bit too low. The price of domestic products in the same class is generally above 200,000 yuan.

Therefore, the price of 149,900 yuan may be quite different from the actual price.

Currently, Xiaomi Motors has not made any relevant statements.

In addition, according to previous reports, Xiaomi's electric car "MS11" adopts a hatchback coupe shape and plans two configurations: the low-configuration model plans to use a 400V voltage platform and BYD's lithium iron phosphate blade battery; while the high-configuration model plans to use an 800V voltage platform and CATL's ternary lithium battery.

At the Xiaomi Group's first-quarter earnings conference this year, President Lu Weibing said that the progress of Xiaomi's car manufacturing is going smoothly and has entered the accelerated R&D stage. Summer and winter tests will be conducted in summer and winter this year, and Xiaomi cars will be launched in the first half of next year as planned.
