The PCIe-8363 is an MXI-Express remote controller that allows a computer with a PCI Express slot to connect to devices or systems via a cabled PCI connection. When used for PXI system control, the PCIe-8363 remote controller provides an x1 PCI Express link to the PXIe-8360 PXI remote control module via a copper cable. This link is transparent to software applications and drivers, so computers and servers do not require additional programming to control connected devices. Using NI remote control, the PXI module can be used as if it were directly installed in the computer as a PCI device.
