The PXIe-8301 allows users to directly control a PXI Express chassis from a laptop via a Thunderbolt™ 3 connection. Using a Gen 3 x4 PCI Express connection, the PXIe-8301 achieves a sustained data throughput of 2.3 GB/s between the chassis and the laptop via a Thunderbolt 3 USB Type-C cable. A second Thunderbolt 3 port allows for connection of other Thunderbolt or USB-C devices.
